“IV” stands for intravenous, “intra-” meaning within or inside and “venous” relating to the veins. Thus, IV therapy is a method of administering fluids directly into the body via the bloodstream, which serves as the most efficient way to deliver hydration and essential nutrients to your body.

Normal saline

Normal saline IV's are simply just saline, minus the vitamins. Normal saline contains 9000mg of sodium chloride to be exact (we use 0.9% sodium chloride injection USP). Sodium is something your body, specifically your muscles, needs to function, and to assist the body in retaining optimal hydration.

NAD

NAD IV's can take up to 1.5 - 2 hour for the infusion (please book before 2pm).

Providing 250mg NAD, combined with a minimum of 1000mL normal saline.

Another option is a 2- 3 hour infusion of 500mg NA, in a minimum of 1500mL normal saline.
